Origins of the Shop

The Shorian Shop has been running since 1970. It was operated by Bill Deckert and his students. The name "Rainbow Bridge" was given to the shop by the teenagers. In the 1980's the name was then changed to "The Shorian Shop." In the Fall of 2000, Mrs. Michelle Puma took over operation. The next year, 2001, her students gave the Shop the nickname of "The Sho Sho." It stuck for a while but many students still refer to it as "The Shorian Shop." Over the years, the shops location as well as it's name has changed. It was once located in the former security office in the front hallway of the school. It moved briefly to the cafeteria and was then in Mrs. Puma's classroom 105. The current location, in the hallway by the lunchroom, is opened during lunch hours and at afterschool activities. Another new location will be opened when construction has ended.
